In-Home SoftWave Therapy in Charlotte, NC for Pain Relief

Charlotte has grown rapidly, but most medical care is still concentrated in a few major corridors. For many residents, a thirty-minute therapy session can turn into a long drive and a blocked-off afternoon.

Health Plus Mobile was built to simplify that process. We provide physician-supervised SoftWave Therapy through in-home visits across Greater Charlotte and appointments at our south Charlotte clinic. Every initial assessment is overseen by Dr. Doug Jordan, DC, with recurring sessions performed by certified Chiropractic Assistants using FDA 510(k) cleared broad-focus acoustic wave technology used in established practices.

Mobile Recovery Care for the Whole Metro

Traditional recovery care is built around one assumption: the patient travels to the clinic. In a city this large, that often means added driving, parking, and scheduling around every session.

Our model removes that extra layer. Your care begins with a combined initial assessment that includes a Teladoc consultation and an in-person mapping session with your technician. After that, recurring sessions are handled directly by your technician at the location you choose, without additional travel or repeated telehealth appointments.

Our In-Home Services Include

Health Plus Mobile brings a focused set of regenerative therapies to Weddington homes. Each session is delivered by a certified Chiropractic Assistant, with initial assessments overseen by Dr. Doug Jordan, DC.

In-Home SoftWave Therapy

A non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses broad-focus acoustic wave energy to support natural healing in muscles, tendons, and joints. The device is FDA 510(k) cleared for pain reduction, improved blood supply, and activation of connective tissue. The same equipment used in established professional practices, brought into your home.

In-Clinic Sessions

For clients who prefer the structure of an office appointment, our clinic at 12335 N Community House Rd handles both initial assessments and recurring sessions. Same physician oversight. Same care team. The format is the choice.

Red Light Therapy

Available in both formats. Many clients combine Red Light with their primary therapy in the same appointment to address inflammation alongside the main treatment area.

Initial Assessment and Care Plan

Your first visit combines the Teladoc consultation with Dr. Doug Jordan, DC, and the hands-on mapping with your technician into one appointment. The standard recommendation is a twelve-session protocol, generally one session per week. Plans are reviewed throughout the course of care.

Where We Travel Across the City

The service area covers most of the metro, anchored at our clinic in the south and extending north into the central neighborhoods, west toward I-77, and south into Union County. Each of the neighborhoods below has its own dedicated information page with details specific to that area, including local landmarks, drive times, and what an in-home visit looks like in that part of the city.

South Charlotte

Our highest-density coverage area including our clinic location and the surrounding neighborhoods. Visit the SouthPark, Myers Park, Dilworth, and Ballantyne pages for details on each area's coverage and what in-home care looks like locally.

Union County

Service extends south of Mecklenburg County into Weddington and the surrounding Union County communities. Drive times to our clinic from Union County addresses are longer than from inside the city, which is exactly why the in-home model lands well here. Visit the Weddington page for details.

North and Central Charlotte

Coverage extends north into Plaza Midwood, Elizabeth, NoDa, and University City corridors. If your address is in one of these areas and an individual page is not yet live, call us or book your initial assessment. We confirm coverage for every address before scheduling the first visit.

Confirming Your Address

If your specific Charlotte address is not explicitly named on a neighborhood page, that does not mean we do not reach you. Call (704) 885-0383 or book the initial assessment online and we will confirm coverage as part of the booking process.

Why a Mobile Model Fits a City This Size

Charlotte’s medical infrastructure is concentrated. Atrium Health and Novant Health anchor the major hospital systems, with specialty clinics clustered around their main campuses and along the SouthPark and Ballantyne corridors. For residents who happen to live near those corridors, the proximity is a genuine advantage. For residents who do not, the difference between living three miles from a clinic and living fifteen miles from one shows up every single time a routine appointment is required.

Recovery care is the kind of treatment where that distance matters most. A twelve-session protocol asks for consistency over three months. The patients who are most likely to complete the protocol are the ones for whom the appointment fits into their week without requiring a full schedule rearrangement. By bringing the work to the patient instead of asking the patient to come to the work, the model makes consistency possible across a wider geographic footprint than any single clinic location can serve.

Greater Charlotte’s dedicated mobile SoftWave Therapy practice was set up around exactly that observation. Dr. Doug Jordan, DC, our Co-Founder and Clinical Lead, sets the protocols every technician on our team follows. He oversees every initial assessment and continues to guide care plans as sessions progress. The clinical seriousness does not change based on what part of the city the patient lives in. Only the logistics do.

How In-Home Care Works

Starting treatment takes three steps.
1.

Book your initial assessment

Choose whether to host the appointment at your home or at our clinic. Both formats include the same combined Teladoc consultation and technician mapping.
2.

Complete the assessment in one visit

Dr. Doug reviews your health history virtually while your technician is on site. The technician then maps the treatment area in the same appointment, and you finalize a care plan together before the visit ends.
3.

Begin recurring sessions

Your technician runs each follow-up session, performs the treatment, and reviews progress. There is no additional Teladoc step for ongoing visits.

Why Mobile Care Works in Charlotte

Healthcare research has consistently shown that distance affects treatment consistency. The longer the drive, the more likely appointments are to be delayed, rescheduled, or missed.

Charlotte’s size makes that challenge more noticeable. Medical care is concentrated in a few major corridors while much of the metro spreads far beyond them. Traffic, commute times, and scheduling friction can turn a short therapy session into a larger time commitment.

By bringing treatment directly to the patient, the appointment becomes easier to keep. Removing the drive helps reduce interruptions in care and makes multi-session treatment plans more practical to maintain.
